Mouth of the Odiel River, Donana and Brazo del Este

It is a trip to enjoy many Birds living in aquatic environment.

Our first point of the visit will be twill be at the Mouth of the River Odiel where you can see, among other species, Ospreys, Bar-tailed and Black-teiled Godwits, Eurasian Oystercatchers, Gray Plovers, Red Knot, Eurasian Spoonbills, Black, Sandwich and Common Terns, Audouin's Gull, etc.

The next day we will dedicate it to touring the different places of interest within the Doñana National Park, paying special attention to the entry at dusk of Greylag Geese and Common Cranes into their roosting places. During the day we will search Marbled Duck, Ferroginous Duck, Spanish Imperial Eagle, Black-shouldered Kite, Red-knobbed Coot, Short-eared Owls, Western Barn Owl and a lot more species.

The last day will be dedicated to the Natural Park of the Brazo del Este. Through its paths we will be able to watch Glossy Ibex, Black Storks, Great White Egrets, Squacco Herons, Several species of Ducks, Purple Swamp-hens and several invasive species such as Yellow-crowned Bishops, Black-headed Weavers and Common Waxbills.

​​ Climate:

​​Although the trip takes place in the month of November we talk about southern Spain, so the temperatures will be quite mild in relation to many other parts of the Peninsula.

​Recommendations:​

Nevertheless, It is advisable to wear warm and waterproof clothing. ​

Difficulty:

Low. The way to the observation places is done in vehicle and there are no long walks.
