Valencia and Alicante

Travel Guide
On this trip we will dedicate to locating Birds living in the most important wetlands close to these two locations.
The first day we will spend in the Marjal del Moros and at the mouth of the Carraixet River. The first destination is a protected area near the city of Sagunto, it has a circular route and several observatories from which you can see most of Birds that are protected in this environment. We will end the day taking a pleasant walk around the mouth of the Carraixet river.
On the second day, first thing in the morning, we will visit the center of Racó del 'Olla and then enter the rice fields in search of other species of Birds that find in this place a refuge where they can feed and reproduce.
The last day we will spend it in El Hondo and its Surroundings. On this day we will look for the scarce Marbled Teal that finds in this place the most important refuge in Europe for this species. The day will pass through paths and observatories, some of them in a tower, from where you can see a large number of Ducks, Herons and to a lesser extent Flamingos.
